I’ve never really resonated with traditional business advice around niching down, trading freebies for emails, or focusing on my “audience’s pain points”.

When I started my business, I waded my way through the advice on what I was “supposed to do” in online business until I finally drew a line in the sand and committed to do things my way. After all, The Secret O.W.L. Society was born out of my decision to honor my personal growth as a human being. It was never meant to be a way to “position myself as the go-to expert on a single topic for a specific niche.” I believe when you prioritize focusing on being the fullest expression of you, then there is no better way to attract your true fans and customers.

So what did I do? I started to honor myself more in my business.
I deleted nearly my entire email list 5 years ago - over 10,000 people who signed up for freebies - and started making 10x more money with a radically smaller list of people who truly wanted to hear from me.
I quit Facebook and Instagram in 2021 and continued growing a multi-six figure business - without any paid advertising or “consistent” posting.
I moved to Portugal with my family in 2023 where I continue to grow my business without needing to depend on a team. While I believe delegation can be a beautiful thing, I’ve learned it flows best when it’s coming from DESIRE and not from people pleasing or a feeling of not enough-ness.
